College of the Holy Cross Campus Expansion Study
Worcester, MA

This study allowed the College of the Holy Cross to understand its campus expansion potential on vacant and topographically constrained land adjacent to their property.

This site planning study for the College of the Holy Cross involved an in-depth site analysis and technical feasibility study of campus expansion potential for vacant and underutilized property adjacent to the college’s main campus in Worcester, MA. The sites had considerable design constraints, including steep slopes, dimensional limitations, considerable parking requirements, and complex vehicular circulation.

Role
Local Form Studio’s Christopher Riale identified and explored several mixed-use and hotel development programs and design opportunities; including integrating planned transportation infrastructure and pedestrian improvements into the site plan.
